Professional Qualifications & A commitment to Continued Professional Development

Holding professional qualifications, licenses and memberships are essential to ethical and professional practice in the field of counselling and psychotherapy. A reflective and effective practitioner also has a consistent approach to Continued Professional Development. At Sage Counselling & Wellbeing, we believe that it is important to regularly add to our effective counselling skills and knowledge through attending additional courses, workshops and seminars, through the reading of articles, journals and books. Some of the other ways that we enhance our professional competencies are through; the listening of relevant and topical podcasts, watching programmes and instructional videos, undertaking additional qualifications and licenses. Training to become a qualified counsellor began for Nicola in 2014, she continues to demonstrate a consistent approach to developing and enhancing her professional profile as a clinician in the field of counselling, psychology and mental health.
